The story continues...
For a long time, the boy lived the life that was set out for him; he went to school, to study, and found a job. He bought a house with his girlfriend, and started thinking about children. Then something happened. Little nudges of his soul started to shine through and reveal to him that he was not who he thought he was...
That particular autumn, he was sent to give a presentation about his work at a conference, in a for him foreign language, that he learned during his high school years, but never really spoke in practice. Moreover, he was supposed to network; meeting many new people, discussing his work with others, who probably knew much better than him what they were doing. And all that while his boss was watching. Already during his school years he hated giving presentations, and he basically avoided being in any spotlight. Now he was thrown into unknown territory, way out of his conform zone! The risk to "fail" was big. He was terrified, and not looking forward to this experience...
But during that three day conference, he discovered a whole new side of him; while his colleagues - including his boss - stuck together like glue and networked primarily with each other, he actually enjoyed meeting these new interesting foreign people. Strangely, he felt more like himself, enjoying this newfound freedom, than he had for a long time!
In the years that followed, a ton of layers dropped off, one after the other - layers of his personality, of the person he thought he was - thereby little by little revealing more of his true essence. He found parts of himself that he didn't know existed, the one more amazing than the other! They were hiding behind the fear, behind the conditioning, behind the life strategies that he had learned as a child. But now they were starting to emerge! He, his essence, was starting to emerge! Finally there was space to be who he really was, in all his glory. He felt more free and at ease - less stressed! - every day.
It took a while to shed all the layers that he gathered during his life - all the beliefs he had taken on about himself. All the limits that turned out to be non-existing, not real, as they dissolved into thin air every time one of those layers got exposed. As a matter of fact, he is still in the process of dismantling the stories and beliefs he holds about himself, and discovering the true greatness of who he really is, as there always seems to be a deeper, even more beautiful and powerful layer to his soul. Life beautifully continues to put the challenges in place that he needs in order to challenge and dismantle more and more of those beliefs, enabling him to reach even deeper, and shine even brighter on the other side. A soul is born on earth through birth, and every day of his awakening journey.
Nowadays, he has found his calling in helping others on this path home; home to who we really are. It is his wish and mission to help create a world in which people embody their soul, their true essence. A world in which people stop believing in the limiting stories they tell themselves (and others). This angel has seen and experienced firsthand that we are not who we think we are. We are way more magnificent! And "all we have to do" is to let go of our stories. Yes, a challenge, as our stories and beliefs are ingrained so deeply. But they can be changed. This angel, and many others, are the proof of that.

It is no coincidence that you are here now, on this page. Coincidences aren't really coincidences; they are your soul's nudges. You are searching for something better, something that feels more home to you, a life more in flow, easier and above all: happier. You feel there has to be something more in life, something more for you, something more in you - and you're right! You are not the person you think you are, with all the limitations you experience - that make up your life! Just like the angel above, you are way more magnificent!
This particular version of the angel story above is my own story; it wasn't a boy after all; it was me, Lisette, founder of Into Magnificence. I wrote the story about a boy to point out one very important aspect: also boys/men are in essence angels - souls huge in wisdom, love and potential - just as girls/women are. When angel stories are usually written about girls, I wanted to make it clear that this really goes for everyone.
Yes, it is my mission to help you embody more of who you truly are. You, and the children in your life. That is why I wrote this chapter. The effects of embodying your very own magnificent essence here on earth are endless, as basically all problems in our lives arise from not embodying who we really are, from not being aligned with our true selves. We all have limiting assumptions about ourselves, the world and our possibilities, and that really takes the magic, ease and happiness out of living!
In my work with people, I have found ways to very quickly get to the core, to your essence, and help you release your stories and embody a whole new way of being, as one of my weekend seminar participants, who happened to work as a psychotherapist himself, pointed out so beautifully (see his quote below). How I do it? With a lot of Love; genuine presence; eyes that see beyond your stories; intuition; simple, yet powerful tools, sometimes invented on the go; and a lot of playfulness and fun at times! Authentic presence and the willingness to truly connect with you open up the path to swift healing and transformation that lasts.
